Based on your brief, we’ll put together a customised service plan and fee proposal for your review. Once approved and the initial invoice is settled, we’ll begin bringing your project to life.

Creating Your Brief

In this first phase of our journey together, we capture your vision through genuine conversation, expressive sketching, and thoughtful modelling.
Every dialogue and drawn idea reveals more about your unique needs and design aspirations. We then experiment with various design directions, crafting a bespoke approach for every project as we collaborate with you to uncover the perfect creative path forward.
We also consider planning requirements, sustainability goals, and how the design fits within your budget. It’s a collaborative process your feedback helps refine the concept into something that feels just right.
Once we’ve agreed on a direction, we’re ready to move forward with more detailed design work.

With your design direction agreed, we’ll start preparing a set of detailed drawings and supporting documents for your planning application, if needed.
Coordinating with Consultants
If there are special considerations like protected trees, listed status, or neighbour impacts we’ll liaise with the right consultants to make sure everything is taken care of.
Submitting & Managing the Application
Once everything’s ready, we’ll submit the planning application to your local authority and keep an eye on its progress, updating you along the way.
If any adjustments or appeals are needed, we’re here to help manage those too.
Detailed Design & Planning

With planning in place, we move on to the technical side of things turning your design into a fully detailed set of drawings and specifications ready for construction.
Working Out the Details
We’ll finalise the layout, materials, and construction methods, and coordinate with any consultants (like structural engineers) to make sure everything works together smoothly.
Building Control & Tender Info
This stage includes preparing information for Building Control approval and, if needed, for builders to price the work accurately.

Construction

With all the technical details in place, it’s time to bring your project to life. We’ll support you through the construction phase, working closely with your chosen builder to make sure everything is built as planned.
On-Site Support
We’re on hand to answer questions, review progress, and help resolve any issues that come up during the build. Our role is to keep things running smoothly and make sure the design is delivered with care and attention to detail.
Quality & Coordination
We’ll carry out site visits, check that the work aligns with the drawings, and help coordinate any final design tweaks. It’s all about making sure the finished result lives up to your expectations.

Handover & Aftercare
Once construction is complete, we’ll carry out a final review to make sure everything’s been built as agreed. We’ll walk through the finished space with you, check for any small issues (known as snagging), and make sure they’re addressed.

In Use
Even after your project is complete, we’re still here if you need us. Whether it’s checking in on how the space is working for you, helping with future tweaks, or offering advice on maintenance, we’re happy to stay involved.
